Additional Resources
Veterans’ Support
In need of veteran’s support or prayer? We work with many organizations that offer additional resources. A few of them are listed below. Please contact info@Support4Soldiers.org with any questions or for more details. Our family of ministries within the Assist Local Foundation includes the Local Veterans Support Fund, whose mission is to restore hope to local homeless veterans returning to our local communities. Their program provides assistance with food, clothing, gas or transportation, housing, and job placement. For more information, please contact info@AssistLocal.org.The Soldiers Project
“We are a group of volunteer licensed mental health professionals who offer free psychological treatment to military service members (active duty, National Guard, Reserves) and veterans and their loved ones who have served or who expect to serve in the conflicts in Iraq or Afghanistan.”

Military Moms in Prayer*
If you or a loved one serving our armed forces needs prayer, please contact Cindy at kapki5@comcast.net. This group began in the summer of 2004 and has been meeting consistently ever since. The prayer team meets on Thursday evenings for one hour each week at the home of Cindy Kapki in Folsom, CA. In addition to praying for their family members who are serving abroad, they share their encouraging stories. If you live in the area, Military Moms in Prayer welcomes you to come and visit their group. Contact Cindy for more details. Everything that is prayed in the group stays in the group, so you can be assured that your prayers are confidential. We would love to encourage you in your journey as you support your loved ones in the military. * Military Moms in Prayer is associated with Moms in Prayer International, which was established approximately 26 years ago.
