Pow Wow Days Parade – May 17, 2014!

Have you heard about the POW WOW DAYS PARADE?  It was part of the 51st annual 4-day “country fair” in Orangevale, California, where nearly 20,000 visitors came to enjoy concerts, rides, a Kids’ Rodeo, and plenty of great food!  The parade took place on May 17, and it was awesome!  Support 4 Soldiers volunteers transformed a 10′ truck into a heart-warming symbol of American patriotism as we demonstrated our mission to provide personal, tangible, and emotional support for our troops deployed around the world.

Amy, Carol, and a group of cheering walkers handed out flags to parade watchers as a reminder that this was also “Armed Forces Day” another great day to support the fantastic active and retired service members of our military forces.  We love our troops!!!

After the parade, we welcomed hundreds of visitors to our booth at the Orangevale Community Park to sign Thank You cards and “Don’t Tread On Me” flags; to learn more about what we do; and to see how they could get involved!
